Job summary

Centerpoint Medical Center in Missouri is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to lead nursing care on the unit during shifts, coordinating care and directing staff.

In collaboration with management, the CNC ensures quality outcomes, trains new staff, and maintains equipment readiness, with a focus on patient experience and operational efficiency.

This role requires RN licensure, a BSN or ADN, and BLS within 30 days; no travel is required.

Qualifications

• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN license is required.
• Bachelor's Degree or Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Hours will most likely be day shift 8 hours M-F with call.
• Ensure supplies are stocked with assistance from Supply Chain for scheduled and unplanned cases.
• Assist in training of new staff and ensure equipment is available and functional for cases.
• Coordinate Preventive Maintenance of Hybrid equipment.
• Work with OR CNC for staff assignments and organize case flow to improve efficiency.
• Close out radiology orders for the hybrid table along with circulating/scrub duties.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures and delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift. In collaboration with other members of the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, serves as a resource person for staff, and models a commitment to the organization’s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.

What you will do in this role:

This role will be responsible for ensuring supplies are properly stocked with assistance from Supply Chain for scheduled and unplanned cases.

Will help with the training of new staff, ensure equipment is available and functional for cases, coordinated Preventive Maintenance of Hybrid equipment, working with OR CNC for staff assignments, and organize case flow to improve efficiency, close out radiology orders for the hybrid table along with circulating/scrub duties.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
