Job summary

Holt Technical Staffing is recruiting on behalf of a leading aerospace manufacturer near Manchester, CT for a CNC Turner. This full-time role involves setting up and operating CNC turning machines to produce flight-critical components.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of CNC turning experience, a high school diploma, and CNC drawing-reading ability; second shift available with a 10% pay differential.

Qualifications

• Aerospace machining experience highly desirable.
• Confident reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings.

We have a live opportunity for a CNC Turner to join a leading aerospace manufacturing company based close to Manchester, CT. Second shifts are available.

Due to continued growth, our client is actively seeking a motivated and enthusiastic CNC Turner to join their industry-leading business.

The CNC Turner will set up and operate CNC turning machines to produce high-quality, flight-critical components and precision-engineered parts.

Responsibilities for the CNC Turner:

• Set up and operate CNC turning machinery.
• Work with multi-axis lathes and turning centres.
• Read and interpret technical blueprints to manufacture complex precision components.
• Machine a range of aerospace materials including aluminium, stainless steel, magnesium, titanium, and nickel alloys.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment and ensure equipment is properly cared for.

Experience for the CNC Turner:

• Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in CNC turning.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong ability to work to tight tolerances and high-quality standards.
• Aerospace machining experience highly desirable.
• Confident in reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings.

Hours and Pay Rates for the CNC Turner:

• 1st Shift:6:00am – 3:30pm or 7:00am – 4:30pm
• 2nd Shift:4:30pm – 3:30am (10-hour shifts)
• Pay Range:$26.97 – $32.50 per hour (depending on experience)
• 2nd Shift Differential:Additional 10% on hourly rate

This is a full-time permanent position for the successful CNC Turner.
