Job summary
TBM Hardwoods, Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with strong expertise in tool grinding to support our custom millwork production.
You will operate and maintain Rondamat 1000 CNC tool grinders and Rondamat 960 manual grinders, program and adjust CNC parameters, and inspect tools to tight tolerances. Ideal candidates will have extensive Rondamat experience, read technical drawings, and possess a strong mechanical mindset.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience operating Rondamat 1000 CNC grinder or similar.
- Strong experience with Rondamat 960 manual grinder or similar.
- Deep understanding of tooling geometry and millwork applications.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- High mechanical aptitude and precision mindset.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain Rondamat 1000 CNC tool grinder.
- Operate Rondamat 960 manual grinder for precision sharpening.
- Program and adjust CNC grinding parameters.
- Inspect tools to tight tolerance standards.
- Maintain detailed tooling performance records.
- Partner with production leadership to ensure peak tool performance.
- Maintain high safety and housekeeping standards.
