Job summary

Fusion Life Sciences Technologies LLC is seeking an Engineering Technician III to support precision medical device manufacturing in Raynham, MA. This hands-on role will develop and refine CNC programs for complex low-volume/high-mix 5-axis machining, collaborating with production teams to solve real process problems with measurable cost and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with CNC programming and CNC equipment setup experience.
• 3–5 years of experience as an Engineering Technician.
• Direct experience with machined-part manufacturing in a production/shop-floor environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading cost-reduction, efficiency, or process-improvement projects with measurable results.
• Available for on-site work, 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Develop complete CNC programs for complex multi-axis milling and lathe applications.
• Use CAM software (SolidCAM/Mastercam) to drive production process design and optimization.
• Support fixture design, GD&T interpretation, and troubleshoot complex machining processes.
• Develop and implement process improvements to raise productivity, quality, cycle time and throughput.
• Spend significant time on the shop floor working directly with engineering and production teams.
• Review existing machining processes to identify bottlenecks and waste.
• Collaborate with machinists, NC programmers, quality and manufacturing engineers.
• Lead cost-reduction and efficiency-improvement projects with measurable results.
