Position Summary

Murphy Machine Products (MMP), a Delva Tool & Machine (DTM) company, is seeking a CNC Swiss Setup Technicianfor our Wood Dale, IL location. The CNC Swiss Setup Technician plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and accurate production of precision parts. This position requires a strong understanding of CNC Swiss machines, a commitment to quality, and exceptional troubleshooting skills. The primary responsibility is to set up and operate CNC Swiss machines to produce high-quality parts that meet or exceed customer specifications.

This position works a schedule of Monday thru Thursday from 6:00am-4:30pm (OR) Monday thru Friday from 6:00am-2:30pm. The pay range for this role is between $26.00-$32.00/hr. depending on experience

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Setup CNC Swiss following SMED processes. (STAR SR20RII, SR20RIII, SR20J, SR32J, SR38 and CITIZEN M32)
• Troubleshoot machine and program issues.
• Update work instructions to current tooling.
• Produce and measure parts per blueprint following Quality Plans.
• Work with operators when handing off machine.
• Ensure a safe work environment is maintained, appropriate safety systems/processes are utilized, and ensure compliance with all OSHA and other state/federal safety and environmental related rules and regulations.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
