Job summary

Micro-Matics Inc. in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a CNC Swiss Operator to set up and run Swiss turn machines on day or night shifts. The position offers $26–$30/hour, with overtime opportunities and weekly pay on both day and night shifts.

You'll collect inspection data, perform light troubleshooting and maintenance, and participate in first article inspections while maintaining a clean, compliant work environment and teamwork with other operators.

Qualifications

• Two years experience operating CNC Swiss machinery in manufacturing.
• Two years troubleshooting CNC Swiss machines.
• Good math aptitude and blueprint reading abilities.
• Good understanding of SPC and the basic elements of TQM and GD&T.
• If no CNC Swiss experience, CNC background with strong ability/desire to learn Swiss is acceptable.

Requirements

• Two years of experience operating CNC Swiss machinery in a manufacturing environment
• Two years of trouble-shooting experience on CNC Swiss machines
• Good math aptitude and good blueprint reading abilities.
• Good understanding of SPC and the basic elements of TQM and GD&T

** If no CNC Swiss experience, CNC background with strong ability/desire to learn Swiss is acceptable.

Skills:

• Needs to have solid communication skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Candidate must be able to get along and work with others and be able to work overtime if need be.
