Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience of CNC machine set ups and/or programming required.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret mechanical blueprints.
• Proficient in using digital calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, and other measurement tools.
• Ability to lift and move up to 70 lbs. independently required.
• Excellent problem solving ability.
• Dedicated work ethic with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
• Experience with FANUC controls is a plus.
• Knowledge of G-code and M-code programming required.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance to CNC operators as needed.
• Perform setups and changeovers.
• Troubleshoot machine issues.
• Perform scheduled maintenance plans for all machines.
• Keep work areas safe, productive, and clean.

CNC Swiss Machinist

Location: Madison Heights, VA (On‑site)
Type: Full‑Time, All Shifts
Pay: $21.00–30.00/hr

QAD is searching for full time CNC Swiss Machinists to join our growing team. At QAD, machinists are the go‑to persons for setups, programming, and overall machine improvements. They ensure that the machines are running at their maximum capacity so that top quality parts are produced.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance to CNC operators as needed

Schedule

• 8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday
• First, second, or third shift opportunities with shift pay differentials
• Weekends and holidays as needed
• Overtime available
