Job summary

6AM City, LLC in Kentucky is seeking an experienced CNC Swiss Machine Operator to set up, operate, and maintain Star or Citizen Swiss machines to produce high-quality precision parts. This full-time role requires 1-2 years of manufacturing experience with CNC control; Star or Citizen Swiss experience is preferred.

IQMS experience is a plus but not required. Strong communication, basic math, and computer skills are essential as you work in a fast-paced precision manufacturing environment

Qualifications

• 1-2 years manufacturing experience with CNC control.
• Star or Citizen Swiss machine experience preferred.
• IQMS experience a plus, but not required.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals, and percentages).
• Proficient with computers, including email and record-keeping systems.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a Star or Citizen Swiss machine
• Interchange cutting tools within the machine as needed
• Monitor and maintain fluid levels
• Clean the machine before and after use
• Maintain a clean and safe workstation
• Continuously load the bar feeder throughout the shift
• Produce parts according to Dimensional Control Plan (DCP) specifications
• Perform tool changes at set intervals
• Perform preventative maintenance and report machine issues to supervisor
• Follow all work instructions and procedures per the company's QMS (ISO)
• Report quality updates to supervisor daily
• Follow all internal, OSHA, and safety regulations

Physical Requirements

• Ability to remain stationary for up to 90% of shift while operating assigned machine
• Ability to move about the shop floor as needed
• Ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to work in an environment with moving mechanical parts, fumes, and higher noise levels
• Must wear required PPE including slip-resistant shoes and safety glasses
