Job summary

Ppswork in Minerva, OH is seeking a Specialty Machine Op (CNC) to start on 1st shift. The role focuses on running tubular metal CNC machines, reading prints, selecting tooling, and ensuring part quality on a four-day workweek (Mon-Thu, 5am-3:30pm).

You will be trained on specialty machines, perform setup and troubleshooting, load/unload tubes, and carry out secondary operations such as welding or trimming as needed. Physical fitness required; lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC machines and reading prints.
• Ability to set up, adjust tooling and troubleshoot during production.
• Capable of measuring parts with basic metrology tools.
• Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines to produce tubular metal products.
• Read and interpret prints to determine tooling and materials.
• Determine correct tooling, fixtures and materials for each job.
• Troubleshoot machine during production and adjust to maintain quality.
• Load/unload tubes and pipes from machines.
• Perform secondary operations such as welding and trimming as needed.
• Accurately use tape measure, calipers, micrometers and height gauges.
