Job summary

Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis LLC in St. Louis, MO is seeking a skilled Machine Shop Supervisor for the 2nd shift to oversee daily operations, ensure production efficiency, and mentor a manufacturing team.

Qualifications

Experience leading a machine shop team and coordinating daily operations.
Proficient in CNC programming and troubleshooting on multi-axis machines.
Strong understanding of machining principles, tool selection, and fixture design.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily machine shop operations and ensure workflow efficiency
Assign and supervise work, maintaining high production and quality standards
Ensure CNC machines and tools are properly maintained and operational
Monitor and evaluate production records to improve performance
Implement and enforce safety protocols and company policies
Develop work-holding strategies and design fixtures for complex geometries
Assist the shop floor in meeting quality requirements and troubleshooting machining issues
Maintain continuous process improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
