Job summary

Nolte Precise Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a Machine Setup Operator in Cincinnati, OH. The role focuses on maintaining acceptable setup standards, running production to meet quality goals, and transferring programs to CNC controls.

You will arrange tooling and install fixtures to support efficient machining. The ideal candidate has a proven CNC setup track record, strong blueprint skills with GD&T, and the ability to measure and verify part accuracy.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in CNC machine operation and setup.
• Ability to adjust tools and machine components and verify accuracy.
• Proficient with precision gauges and measuring instruments.
• Capable of logical decision making with on-time reporting.
• Able to collect process data and propose improvements.
• Solid shop math including fractions and decimals.
• Advanced blueprint reading with GD&T.
• Technical school certificate/degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain setup standards for time and quality.
• Provide cycle time and layout corrections.
• Run production to productivity and quality standards.
• Transfer/download programs to CNC controls.
• Set up cutting tools and work holding devices as specified.
• Instruct others in machine setup and operation.
• Set up machines for other workers.
• Complete daily 5S and maintenance tasks.
• Communicate work status and follow policies.
