Crane Company is seeking a CNC Set-up operator to set up CNC machines, manufacture parts and inspect finished pieces. You will start the machine, perform TPM procedures and adjust fixturing as needed.

Responsibilities include pulling blueprints, performing first-piece inspections, and applying tool offsets to maintain part quality. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and operate forklifts, with familiarity in Fanuc controls.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Must be able to lift parts weighing up to 50lbs without assistance; team lift for heavier items.
• Must read measuring instruments (tape measure, height gauge, calipers) to verify specifications.
• Operate forklifts and reach trucks; manual lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer skills to pull blueprints, enter orders, and load CNC programs.
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls.

Position Summary

• Select and install appropriate fixturing for the part to be produced, per posted schedule.
• Perform tool offsets as needed, adjust as required.
• Pull the inspection sheet and blueprint for the part being produced and perform a first piece inspection in accordance with the manufacturing procedures to blueprint required specifications.
• Understand tool offsets to ensure part quality and blueprint specification.

Principle Duties (includes, But Is Not Limited To)

• Perform tool offsets as needed, adjust as required.
• Pull the inspection sheet and blueprint for the part being produced and perform a first piece inspection in accordance with the manufacturing procedures to blueprint required specifications.
• Understand tool offsets to ensure part quality and blueprint specification.

Essential Qualifications / Experience

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Must be able to lift parts weighing up to 50lbs without assistance, any parts weighing over 50lbs requires a team lift.
• Must have the ability to read measuring instruments, including but not limited to tape measure, height gauge, angle gauges, and calipers to verify parts are within specification.
• Perform material handling functions using forklifts and reach truck. Manual lifting for loading and unloading required (up to 50 lbs.).
• Basic computer skills required to pull blueprints, enter orders, and load CNC programs.
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls required.

Preferred Qualifications / Experience

• CNC technical training.
• Two or more years of verifiable CNC experience.
• CNC Mazak Milling Center experience and Okuma lathe experience.
• Manual lathe and mill experience.
