Qualifications

  • 3 years minimum CNC operation experience.
  • 1 year minimum CNC setup experience with basic knowledge of G&M code.
  • Experience adjusting tool offsets.
  • Experience with measuring tools such as gauging equipment.
  • Able to read and understand blueprints.
  • Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate multiple CNC machines.
  • Review blueprints and set-up sheets to make parts according to customer specifications.
  • Make adjustments and tooling offsets as needed.
  • Determine most efficient machine operation methods to maximize productivity and collaborate with Continuous Improvement leaders.
  • Perform first article inspections and collaborate with Quality Control to ensure high quality parts are produced.
  • Utilize gauging equipment to check parts and properly set up area near machine.
  • Load and unload material using safe lifting practices.
  • Comply with all workplace safety policies, procedures, and regulations (OSHA, local, and company-specific).
