Job summary

Jobot is seeking a CNC Set-Up Technician for our Daytona Beach, FL facility. This on-site, permanent role requires expertise in CNC set-up, 5-axis machining, SolidWorks, and programming, with 5+ years of experience.

You will develop and optimize manufacturing processes, work with milling and turning equipment, ensure safety, and collaborate with engineering teams to improve production efficiency. Strong growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC Set-Up.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, 5-axis, Mill, Lathe, CNC Set-Up; Programming preferred.

Responsibilities

• Developing, configuring, and optimizing industrial CNC processes from inception through to startup.
• Assessing processes, taking measurements and interpreting data.
• Designing, running, testing, and upgrading systems and processes.
• Developing best practices to improve production rates and quality.
• Performing process simulations and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to maintain equipment and systems to improve processes and minimize the cost of manufacturing.
• Working with design software and equipment to create and test prototypes for new product lines.
• Overseeing operational processes, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Ensuring that all safety protocols are followed to maintain a safe working environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SolidWorks, 5 axis, Mill, Lathe, CNC Set-Up, and Programming. Qualifications

1. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field preferred
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC Set-Up
3. Proficiency in SolidWorks, 5 axis, Mill, Lathe, CNC Set-Up. Experience with Programming is preferred.
4. Proven track record of successful process optimization and implementation.
5. Strong knowledge of process engineering software systems.
6. Excellent technical skills, including the ability to implement new systems and processes and to oversee teams and projects.
7. Strong analytical thinker with problem-solving skills.
8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
9. Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
10. Knowledge of process-related standards and experience in process simulations, troubleshooting, and optimization.
