Job summary

Schaeffler Technologies AG & Co. KG in Wooster, OH is seeking a Set Up Operator II (CNC) for the 3rd shift to set up and program operating machines, perform initial tests, and assist with ramp up of production.

You will follow documented procedures, keep accurate records, assist with machine maintenance, and ensure safety compliance by using PPE and adhering to production rules. A high school diploma and ability to read blueprints are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to use measuring instruments and identify defects.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate in English.
• Ability to operate medium-complex machinery for inspection.
• Ability to lift medium-heavy objects as required.
• Authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Set up and programming of operating machines including accuracy and effectiveness checks in first test sequences.
• Oversee ramp up of machines after setup procedure and support Operators in operating the machines.
• Support maintenance in repair, prevention of downtime and inspection of machines.
• Follow documented procedures and processes and maintain accurate records and tracking.
• Check finished product/product component and submit for approval.
• Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper use of PPE at all times.
