Job summary

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a CNC Set Up Operator / Vertical Milling Center Operator in Addison, IL. Shifts are 1st (6 AM–2:30 PM) with overtime possibilities and a broad benefits package.

The role requires setting up and operating Haas/DMG Mori/Okuma style machines, reading blueprints, conducting first article and in-process inspections, and performing minor troubleshooting. Strong attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• CNC Set Up Operating experience with Vertical Milling Centers.
• Blueprint Reading with interpretation of drawings.
• Quality Inspection using Micrometers, Calipers and Gauges.
• Experience with Fanuc controls.

Responsibilities

• Set Up and Operate CNC Vertical Milling Centers according to job orders and specifications.
• Select and install tooling, fixtures, and upload program.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Perform first piece inspection and in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other measuring equipment to confirm that parts meet specifications.
• Make adjustments to machinery as necessary, minor troubleshooting.
• Run up to two machines at a time; perform 1-5 set ups per day depending on job orders.
• Work in a fast-paced, team environment.

CNC Set Up Operator / Vertical Milling Center Operator – Addison, IL

Shift: 1st 6 AM – 2:30 PM

Overtime: Currently working 6 AM – 4:30 PM Monday – Friday, 6 AM – 12 PM 2 Saturdays a month.

Pay: B Level: $24-35/hr; C Level: $20-24/hr

Job Description

• Set Up and Operate CNC Vertical Milling Centers according to job orders and specifications
