Job summary

Carpenter & Paterson, Inc. is seeking a full-time skilled CNC Saw Operator to run our Peddinghaus plate processor and laser cutting table. This role is ideal for someone with a strong CNC machining background and a passion for precision fabrication.

The position follows a Monday through Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm schedule with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits, including paid holidays and time off, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating CNC plasma and laser cutting equipment.
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
• Experience in steel fabrication processes.

Essential Duties:

• Operate and maintain the Peddinghaus plate processing system and laser cutting table.
• Interpret blueprints and CAD files for accurate cutting and drilling.
• Perform CNC programming adjustments and troubleshoot machine issues.
• Ensure quality standards and maintain a safe work environment.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience operating CNC plasma and laser cutting equipment.
• Strong CNC machining skills and ability to read technical drawings.
• Familiarity with steel fabrication processes.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Days/Shift:

• Monday thru Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
