Precinmac is seeking a Router Operator for its Shields Manufacturing facility in Tualatin Oregon. You will set up and run CNC routers, producing parts to customer blueprints under limited supervision.

Qualifications

• Vocational training in metal fabrication or machining.
• Some experience operating CNC routers is a plus.
• Proficiency with calipers, gauge blocks, micrometers and height/depth gauges.
• Strong reading of blue prints and geometric tolerances.
• Good communication skills, verbal and written.
• Must be a self-starter and able to handle multiple tasks.
• Analytical and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC router and machine parts to customer specifications from blue prints.
• Set up production jobs and document the completed process for transfer to production.
• Define measurements of all critical features of produced parts.
• Design and manufacture fixturing.
• Assist operators in setup, tooling, and troubleshooting.
• Continually improve cycle times, processes, setup and tooling.
• Provide input to estimators on machine run times, fixturing and tooling requirements.
• Verify conformance to dimensions, alignments, and clearance of finished parts.
• May develop programs for machines based on solid models and drawings using MasterCam.
• Work with NPI teams to develop manufacturing methods.
