Job summary

McCoy’s Building Supply is seeking a Rebar Fabricator Crewmember to safely operate CNC rebar fabrication equipment and produce reinforcing steel per customer specifications and schedules. You will read bar lists, set up machines, verify tooling, and ensure quality while maintaining production records and a clean, safe work area.

The role requires 1–2 years of related manufacturing experience or equivalent mechanical experience; lifting up to 80 pounds and working in a physical manufacturing

Qualifications

• Ability to read bar lists and production specs.
• Good measurement skills and understanding of tolerances.
• Experience with CNC rebar fabrication equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC rebar fabrication equipment (cutting, bending, shaping).
• Read and verify bar lists, bending schedules, and tickets.
• Set up machines, verify tooling, and machine settings before production.
• Inspect finished rebar for length, bend, shape and quality.
• Maintain production counts and records; keep work area clean.
• Follow safety policies and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Communicate issues to supervision and fellow workers.
