Job summary
ITT Goulds Pumps in Seneca Falls, NY is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer/CNC Programmer to develop offline CNC programs using Mastercam and CAM software to produce components for industrial pump applications. The role requires reading CAD models and blueprints, selecting tooling, speeds, and feeds, and ensuring safety and quality.
The ideal candidate has 3+ years CNC programming experience, proficiency in Mastercam and Creo Pro/E, and strong math and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED or trade school certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of CNC machining and programming experience.
- Strong knowledge of CNC machines.
- Familiar with interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Lean/setup reduction and mistake proofing experience.
- Familiar with Creo Pro E and other design software.
- MS Office including Excel, Teams, Word, Power Point.
- MasterCam software skills preferred or other CAM software.
- Strong proficiency with MasterCam software.
Responsibilities
- Program CNC equipment offline from CAD models or CAM software.
- Review blueprints and program from CAD models away from the machine.
- Adjust machine cutting paths to optimize production while maintaining quality.
- Consider tools, speeds, feeds, and fixtures for machining.
- Run simulations and collect data; conduct quality testing and debugging.
