Job summary

Lincoln Contracting in Pennsylvania is seeking an experienced CNC Drill Operator to set up, program, and operate CNC drilling equipment for steel fabrication projects. You will read blueprints, verify CNC programs, position and secure material, inspect finished work, and ensure safe, efficient production on a fast-paced team.

Prior CNC programming experience is required; Autocad and Sigmanest familiarity is a plus, along with experience running burn tables, drill lines, and beamlines.

Job description

Lincoln Contracting is seeking an experienced CNC Drill Operator. We specialize in construction and custom welding and fabrication.

Responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC drilling equipment used to fabricate steel components and assemblies for LCE industrial construction and material handling projects. Reads drawings and work instructions, verifies CNC programs, positions and secures material, operates drilling equipment, inspects completed work, and maintains safe, accurate, efficient production.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Must be able to read blueprints and follow verbal and written work instructions.
• Ability to make files and program CNC machines.
• Candidates will work independently or as a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be willing to work overtime on an as-needed basis to maintain production deadlines.

Education or Experience

• Prior programming experience is required.
• CNC programming - 1 year required.
• Autocad and Sigmanest are a plus.
• Experience running burn tables, drill lines, and beamlines.
