Build Parts. Solve Problems. Own the Process.

SES MFG is looking for a highly capable CNC Programmer / Machinist who enjoys taking ownership of the entire machining process—from reviewing a print or 3D model to delivering finished, inspection-ready parts.

This is more than a machine operator position. You'll make decisions on machining strategy, workholding, tooling, programming, setup, machining, inspection, and continuous improvement. If you enjoy working independently in a small, fast-moving manufacturing environment where your ideas matter, you'll fit right in.

Working alongside ownership and engineering, you'll help manufacture precision components supporting industries including aerospace, life sciences, power generation, government, and advanced industrial automation.

---

What You'll Be Doing

In this role you will:

  • Program CNC mills and lathes using Fusion 360 CAM
  • Independently develop machining strategies from 2D drawings and 3D CAD models
  • Design and select workholding, tooling, cutting parameters, and setup methods
  • Set up and operate 3 and 4-axis CNC milling machines
  • Set up and operate 2-axis CNC turning centers
  • Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections
  • Verify dimensions using precision measuring equipment
  • Troubleshoot machining challenges and optimize cycle times
  • Assist with product assembly when required
  • Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Mentor less experienced machinists and provide technical leadership on the shop floor
  • Collaborate directly with ownership to establish production priorities and schedules
  • Recommend process improvements that increase efficiency, quality, and throughput
