Job summary

Osgood Industries, LLC in Oldsmar, FL is seeking an experienced CNC Programming Machinist for 2nd shift. You will program, set up, and operate CNC lathes and machining centers to produce precision components for high-performance machinery.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of CNC machining, Mazak programming experience, and the ability to read drawings and GD&T. We offer a competitive benefits package and a 2nd shift differential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC machining experience.
• Strong CNC programming experience required.
• Experience with Mazak CNC programming.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and GD&T.
• Strong understanding of machining practices, tooling, and materials.
• Experience with precision machining and tight tolerances.
• Ability to troubleshoot machining and programming issues.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes and/or machining centers.
• Create and modify CNC programs using Mazatrol or G-code and machine controls.
• Interpret drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing instructions.
• Select tooling, feeds, speeds, and machining strategies.
• Perform setups, offsets, and first-piece inspections.
• Fabricate tooling as needed and troubleshoot issues.
• Inspect parts with precision measuring equipment and document results.
• Support continuous improvement, safety, quality, and productivity.
