Job summary

ACEMCO Incorporated is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Machinist for second and third shifts in Michigan. The role involves setting up and operating CNC equipment, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring timely material requests to maintain production schedules.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of machining or CNC programming experience, strong problem-solving abilities, and solid computer and math skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in machining, methodizing, and/or CNC programming.
• Ability to make decisions based upon data trending and intuition.
• Must possess problem-solving skills.
• Must have a strong attention to detail.
• Good computer and mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC equipment from product data to produce die components in accordance with instructions.
• Understand blueprints of product, die, and checking fixture to visualize shape and operation of tools.
• Document work in an orderly fashion and store data and tool parts accordingly.
• Request materials and resources with sufficient lead time to maintain schedule.
• Set up and operate machine tools (lathe, mill, grinder, saw, drill press) safely.
