Technique, Inc. is seeking a CNC Programmer/Machinist to join our team in Michigan. You will operate, set up, and program HAAS and FANUC mills, lathes, waterjets, and Wire EDM using Mastercam and SolidWorks to produce precision prototype parts.
The role requires reading engineering prints, performing inspections, and programming 4- and 5-axis machines to meet customer standards. A minimum of 2 years CNC machining experience and Mastercam 2D/3D skills are expected.
Technique, Inc. is looking for a CNC Programmer/Machinist to join our team at our Jackson, Michigan facility. This position reports to the Machining Manager in the Machining department. This role requires operating, setting up, and programming HAAS and FANUC CNC mills, lathes, and waterjet machines, as well as Wire EDM, using Mastercam and SolidWorks to produce precision machined parts for the prototype industry. The CNC Programmer/Machinist will read and interpret engineering prints and blueprints, perform in-process and final part inspections, design and machine fixtures, and program 4- and 5-axis machines to meet internal and customer standards.
The ideal candidate brings at least 2 years of CNC machining experience and is proficient in Mastercam 2D and 3D programming, G-Code, and GD&T notation. Familiarity with HAAS CNC mills and lathes, strong shop math skills, and the ability to multitask accurately in a fast-paced environment are critical factors in this role. A forklift operator’s license is preferred, and vocational training beyond a high school diploma is a plus.
This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Multiple shifts are available.
