Job summary

JE Dunn is seeking a CNC Programmer CORE to design and optimize programs for metal and wood components in our fabrication environment. You will read blueprints, select tools and parameters, and validate programs before production to ensure quality and efficiency.

You will collaborate with fabricators, designers and engineers, troubleshoot issues, and expand your proficiency across multiple machines while working in a dynamic shop setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Apprentice or vocational training preferred.
• Equivalent relevant experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and specifications for components.
• Create or modify CNC programs across machines.
• Diagnose basic errors to improve quality.
• Collaborate with fabricators, designers and engineers.
• Validate programs before production.
• Select appropriate tools and machine parameters.
• Gain experience with additional machines after proficiency.
• Program machines on shop floor terminals or PC.
