Regal Rexnord is seeking a CNC Programmer I for an onsite role in our Aerospace Business Unit. The position focuses on creating CNC programs for complex parts, ensuring tight tolerances across multiple axes and various machining centers.

Responsibilities include maintaining program libraries, complying with NADCAP requirements, and supporting shop staff with program loading. A Bachelor’s or Associate degree is a plus, with at least 2 years of CNC experience in a fast-paced environment.

Job Overview

Work Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

Aerospace Business Unit

Regal Rexnord Aerospace supplies high performance spherical and cylindrical bearings, mechanical seals, gears and electrical components to commercial air transport markets. Our products are engineered to meet stringent requirements and are specified in engine systems, flight control systems, landing gear systems and airframe structures. Our global customer base includes major engine and airframe OEMs, tier suppliers and aircraft operators.

Brief Description

The CNC Programmer I is responsible for all CNC programs for manufacturing equipment directly impacting on the overall performance objectives for the company and compliance to AS9100 and NADCAP requirements and/or division. This position significantly impacts Rexnord’s ability in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost. This position reports to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and is a non-exempt hourly technical position. Working hours are 6am-2pm.

Key Accountabilities

Ability to write programs that will machine complex parts to very close tolerances on multiple axes on various machining centers. Horizontal Machining Centers including Macro, sub program and variable programming knowledge. 4 axis lathes, 5 axis machining centers, Y axis lathes, and Vertical Machining Centers large and small “Shop Floor” problem solving. Kaizen participation such as SMDE, VSM, 5s, etc. Maintain program libraries and revision status of program revisions per NADCAP requirements. Hands‑on knowledge of the programs storage and the ability to assist shop associates in uploading and downloading programs.

Bachelor’s or associate degree is a plus. Minimum 2 years of CNC Machining experience is required. Minimum 2 years of experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Ability to extract critical data and analyze data to make informed business decisions. Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt a plus. Excellent computer skills (CAD/CAM, Auto Cad, Esprit, Solid Works, word processing, graphics, spreadsheet, etc.). Familiar in‑G and M code editing, Macro and variable style programming, multi axis function(s) and Fanuc/Okuma/ Mori/Mitsubishi and CELOS controllers. Demonstrated proficiency in time and project management. Self‑starter working with little direct supervision. Team orientated with the ability to influence others without authority.
