Job summary

AccuForm Precision LLC, a CNC machine shop in the Youngstown area, is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our engineering team. We require 4- and 5-axis machining expertise, off-line CAM programs (Gibbs/Mastercam), and CAD fixture design in SolidWorks or Inventor.

This role focuses on milling and fixture design to support production and quality. We offer a collaborative environment where skilled programmers develop tool sets, troubleshoot, and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years CNC programming experience required.
• Strong reading of drawings and prints.
• Good understanding of dimensioning and tolerances.
• CAM programming experience required; knowledge of cutters and tool holders.
• CAD software experience for fixture design (SolidWorks or Inventor) is required.
• Experience with 4- and/or 5-axis machines.
• CMM exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Write programs for 4- and 5-axis CNC machines, especially Fanuc controls.
• Design work holding fixtures using SolidWorks; training available.
• Utilize GD&T knowledge to ensure tolerances are met.
• Build tool sets for production jobs and hand off to quality/production.
• Troubleshoot and improve programs regularly.
• Develop processes for setup, deburring, and gauging with quality documentation.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our engineering team.

In particular, a programmer with experience with 4 and 5 axis machining centers, such as horizontal machining centers or vertical machining centers with 4 and 5 axis tables.

Experience with off-line CAM programs, such as Gibbs or Mastercam or the equivalent is required.

We do not have lathes, and are looking for a milling expert only.

Responsibilities

• Write programs for 4 and 5 axis CNC machines, especially Fanuc-controlled equipment.
• Design of work holding fixtures using SolidWorks software. We can train on software but will be a long-term requirement.
• Understanding GD&T is helpful.
• Able to build tool sets for production jobs and prove out the programs to hand them off to quality and production departments.
• Troubleshoot and improve programs on a regular basis.
• Development of processes such as part setup, deburring, gaging to assist the quality department in process documentation.

Requirements

• 3 years of CNC programming is required.
• Have strong drawing/print reading abilities.
• Have strong understanding of dimensioning systems and tolerances.
• Experience with CAM programming is necessary, along with extensive knowledge of Cutters and Tool Holders.
• Familiarity with CAD software, such as SolidWorks or AutoDesk Inventor for creating fixture designs is required.
• Experience with 4 and/or 5 axis machines.
• CMM exposure and working with a CMM department is a Plus.

Pay: $75,000 - 90,000 / year
