Job summary

Dover Precision Components in Antigo, Wisconsin, is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to analyze drawings, create and optimize CNC programs for lathes and mills, and ensure efficient, accurate machining. The role requires proficiency with Fanuc/Okuma/Mazak controls, CAD/CAM tools, and GD&T knowledge.

Onsite position with ITAR/UNNPI considerations; candidates must be US Citizens. Discretionary bonus eligibility and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Certification from accredited technical school is preferred.
• 2–4 years’ experience operating a CNC mill or lathe.
• Minimum of 6 years in manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes drawings, sketches and design data to determine dimension and tool path.
• Analyzes routings during programming and updates processes for full capability.
• Writes programs using CAD/CAM and 3D verification software.
• Revises programs to fix errors or omissions.
• Determines work procedures and expedites workflow.
• Creates standard work documents for CNC machines, tooling and programs.
• Continuously improves tooling and programs and reduces setup times.
• Evaluates completed designs to validate functions and margins.
• Monitors programs to ensure adherence to blueprints and successful completion.
