Job summary

Gaging Technology Inc in Georgia is seeking an experienced CNC programmer to create programs for 5-axis VMC and Turn/Mill machines using TopSolid CAD/CAM. You will craft digital setup sheets and tool lists in ProShop ERP and help design fixtures for both machining and CMM inspection.

The role requires 5+ years of machining and programming, preferably with aerospace or medical parts, and the ability to interpret prints, tolerances, GD&T, and assembly notes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years machining and programming experience.
• Experience in Aerospace or Medical industries preferred.
• Willing to learn TopSolid CAD/CAM; internal training provided.
• Able to review prints for materials, tolerances, GD&T and assembly.

Responsibilities

• Create digital setup sheets and tool lists in ProShop ERP.
• Design custom fixturing and work holding for machining.
• Design fixtures for CMM inspection and 3D printing applications.

• Create CNC programs for 5-axis VMC and Multi-Tasking Turn/Mill machines utilizing TopSolid CAD/CAM software.


• Create digital setup sheets and tool lists inside ProShop ERP software


• Design custom fixturing and work holding for parts during machining and


• Design custom fixture for holding parts during CMM inspection, 3D printed


• Collaborate in planning meeting with other programmers and quality personnel on new part

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of machining and programming experience, preferably with some Aerospace or Medical industry experience.


• Interest in learning TopSolid CAD/CAM Software. Will train internally.


• Ability to Interpret customer supplied prints for materials, tolerances/GD&T, finishing notes, and hardware assembly


• Ability to review, validate and clean solid models prior to CNC programming


• Competency with MS Office 365


• Must be collaborative minded and have a calm, professional attitude


• Must be willing to take directives from department heads
