Job summary

Jobot is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer for our Chehalis, WA shop, on-site, permanent role. You will develop and write programs for CNC machines, read blueprints, select tools and fixtures, and support continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of 3-axis CNC programming experience, proficiency with CAD/CAM (Fusion 360), and strong problem solving in a fast-paced environment. High school diploma required; technical degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of 3-axis CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in programming, blueprint reading, and technical skills.
• Experience with setup and operation of CNC machines.
• Strong understanding of machining operations and processes.
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM software; Fusion 360 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and write programs for CNC machines using CAD/CAM software.
• Read and interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and models to determine machining parameters.
• Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring fixtures, tools, and materials are correct.
• Test and modify programs to increase efficiency and ensure quality.
• Monitor machining operations and adjust controls as required.
• Perform regular maintenance on machines, tools, and equipment.
• Collaborate with engineers to optimize machining processes.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and write programs for CNC machines using CAD/CAM software.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of CAD/CAM software. Fusion 360 software.
• Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred.
• Certification in CNC programming is a plus.
