Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East seeks a CNC Programmer for a local machining manufacturer. Responsibilities include creating 3- and 5-axis milling programs, improving setup processes, and writing probe routines to ensure quality throughout production.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years programming MasterCAM, 5-axis milling experience, and proficiency with Renishaw or Productivity Plus for inspection, GD&T expertise, and familiarity with ERP data entry.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience programming milling machines using MasterCAM (minimum).
• 5 years of experience operating and setting up milling machining centers (5 axis preferred).
• 2 years of experience using Renishaw Inspection Plus or Productivity Plus.
• Strong understanding of drafting, dimensioning and tolerances (GD&T).
• Able to use a wide range of inspection tools to inspect finished parts within tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Create milling programs for prototype and production 3 and 5 axis parts.
• Build and improve manufacturing process used for machine setup, benchwork and assembly.
• Program machine probe routines to control quality during machining as needed.
• Assist in designing and programming milling machine fixtures as needed.
• Use machine automated tool management system to improve machine performance on production parts.
