Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is hiring for a CNC press brake operator in Grand Prairie, TX. You will set up and run CNC fabricators and related equipment to form sheet metal parts to print, while maintaining safety and precision.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in manufacturing environment, preferably in press brake setup and operation.
• Must read blueprints and use measuring instruments to verify setup accuracy.
• Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC fabricators, shear, spot weld and press brake equipment per print; set up other equipment as assigned.
• Fabricate parts using sheet metal fabricating tools and machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints, bend diagrams, and tolerances.
• Set up fabrication equipment to produce parts to print and operate all department equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as required.
• Input programs in CNC controls and inspect parts for quality.
• Collaborate with engineering to produce parts to print.
• Maintain a safe work environment and inventory of tools.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
