Job summary

Aerotek in Rowlett, TX is seeking a Press Brake Machine Setup Operator with 3-5 years of experience to set up presses, install tooling, and ensure quality. The role requires reading blueprints, performing first-piece and in-process inspections, and troubleshooting tooling and machine issues.

This is a fully onsite position with first-shift stability and opportunities for growth. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, a focus on safety, and experience with CNC

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of press brake setup experience.
• Read blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings.
• Perform first article and in-process inspections.
• Troubleshoot setup, tooling, and machine issues.
• Maintain quality, efficiency, and safety standards.
• Experience with CNC programming.
• Lean manufacturing practices helpful.
• Sheet metal fabrication experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up press brake machines for various sheet metal production jobs.
• Select, install, and align punches and dies based on part specifications.
• Read work orders, prints, and setup documentation.
• Verify dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring equipment.
• Perform first-piece inspections before releasing jobs to production.
• Troubleshoot setup, tooling, and machine issues.
• Support operators during production runs to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Conduct routine maintenance and machine adjustments as needed.
