Job summary

Sintel Inc. seeks a skilled press brake operator in Michigan to load tooling, run first‑article parts, and dial in bends on Accurpress/Accupress, Dener, and Toyokoki equipment. You will verify dimensions and record results to quality records while collaborating with supervisors and teammates to keep work flowing.

This role demands strong math, blueprint reading, and PPAP experience, with second‑shift opportunities on four 10‑hour days and a 20% shift differential.

Qualifications

• Strong equipment and mechanical troubleshooting ability.
• Expertise in machine set-ups for production runs.
• Solid shop math and blueprint reading skills.
• Experience with PPAP.

Responsibilities

• Operate press brakes (Accurpress/Accupress, Dener, Toyokoki) to bend and form sheet metal to blueprint requirements.
• Perform complete tooling set-ups and changeovers; remove and store tooling safely when jobs are complete.
• Use precision measurement tools and gauges to confirm parts meet specifications; document measurements for quality records.
• Maintain accurate part counts and apply labels/tags to finished containers with customer, part number, quantity, and shop order details.
• Collaborate with co-workers and your supervisor to interpret instructions, sequence work, and resolve issues quickly.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times.
• Meet or exceed established quality and performance standards across all assigned jobs.
• Keep machines, tooling, and your workstation clean and organized every day.
