Qualifications

• Set up and operate a CNC Press Brake to bend and form sheet metal components.
• Read blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings.
• Select tooling, dies, and backstop adjustments for machine set-up.
• Adjust machine parameters to meet specified part dimensions.
• Perform multiple set-ups per shift for short and long production runs.
• Use precision measuring tools to verify part accuracy (calipers).
• Conduct routine equipment checks and ensure proper machine maintenance.
• Troubleshoot minor programming and mechanical issues as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Press Brake to bend sheet metal parts according to drawings.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to ensure correct dimensions.
• Configure tooling, dies, and backstops for each job.
• Adjust process parameters to achieve target tolerances.
• Perform multiple setups per shift for various production runs.
• Verify part dimensions using calipers and other precision tools.
• Maintain and troubleshoot the CNC press brake to minimize downtime.
