Job summary

All Things Metal LLC in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a CNC Operator to run plasma and laser cutting equipment in a fast-paced production environment. This entry-level role requires attention to detail and strict safety adherence, with on-the-job training provided.

You will load materials, set up machines, read blueprints, and assist with maintenance while contributing to quality and efficiency. Monday–Friday, 5 am–3 pm with one hour lunch; overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required.
• Preferred: experience with reach forklifts and basic hand tools.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints, including tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload material from machines.
• Neatly palletize processed parts.
• Operate multiple CNC machines (Plasma, Laser, Tube processor, Pipe Bender, Beamline, Cobot Welder).
• Machine and program setup.
• Perform in-depth machine maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow supervisor directions and safety rules.

ATM Steel is our structural steel fabrication and erection team. We focus on large-scale projects in the Phoenix area, bringing experience, capacity, and precision to every job.

Role Overview

The CNC Operator is responsible for operating various CNC cutting equipment—including plasma cutters and laser cutters while ensuring parts meet quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety rules, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment. No prior experience is required, we will train!

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload material from machines.

Schedule

Monday - Friday

5 am - 3 pm with a 1 hour unpaid lunch

Occasional half days on Friday (depending on need and department)
