Job summary

Jobless in Omaha, NE is seeking a Perforation Line Operator responsible for setup, operation, and maintenance of perforation machine, shear, and surface grinder to produce perforated metal sheets and prepare them for the next step. Second shift hours are 6:00 am to 2:30 pm Monday - Thursday, 6:00 am to 12:00 pm Friday.

On-the-job training available for candidates with CNC experience; requires 2-3 years of metal fabrication experience, blueprint reading, forklift certification, and willingness to

Qualifications

• Education: High School Degree or equivalent.
• 2-3 years minimum experience in metal fabrication including machine operation and tooling.
• Ability to understand technical drawings.
• Ability to operate a forklift and obtain certification.
• Highly motivated and willing to work extended hours.
• Ability to work in a team environment and/or independently.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain perforation machine, shear, and surface grinder.
• Produce perforated sheet metal and place on pallets for the next work center.
• Load and unload steel coils with the overhead crane to the production floor and into the perforation machine.
• Operate shear to cut parts in accordance with blueprint specifications.
• Use the surface grinder to sharpen punches for perforated sheets.
• Provide maintenance and minor repairs on tools, dies, and machines.
• Set up tool & dies and other production necessities to produce 0 defect parts.
• Work a regular schedule determined by supervisory management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.
