Job summary

Progress Rail is hiring for a weekend shift CNC operator in Sherman, TX. The role offers a shift premium, full benefits from day one, and eligibility for quarterly bonuses.

You will operate CNC machines to produce railroad track and turnout assemblies, using precision measurement tools to ensure quality and safety. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of machinist/CNC experience, can read and write clearly, and work well in a team.

Qualifications

• Must be able to multitask and work with minimum supervision.
• Must be able to read and write legibly and complete production reports with accuracy.
• Must be quality oriented and a team player.
• Must meet post-offer drug test and background review requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines to produce railroad track and turnout components according to specs.
• Use measuring devices to verify accuracy and mark rail accordingly.
• Operate overhead cranes as part of the production process.
