Hitachi Rail STS USA, INC. in Batesburg-Leesville, SC, seeks a dedicated Associate CNC Operator for a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role focuses on CNC setup, operation, and maintenance for second shift (4:00pm–2:30am, Mon–Thu).

You will read blueprints, set up machines, inspect parts, and ensure quality per engineering changes. Strong communication and MS Office/SAP skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 6 months–1 year CNC/operator experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Proficient in MS Office and SAP software.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders and other technical documents.
• Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes and mills.
• Perform autonomous maintenance on equipment and change tools/fluids.
• Inspect parts using gauges to ensure quality and compliance.
• Support other departments including assembly and painting.
