StenTech in San Jose, CA is seeking a motivated CNC Operator to join our manufacturing tooling team. You will set up and operate CNC equipment to produce precision parts according to drawings and specifications, and you’ll work closely with engineers and production staff to maintain efficient processes and a safe workspace.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC machines or equivalent manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Basic mathematical skills for measurements and machining calculations.
• Mechanical aptitude and safe operation of tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines to manufacture precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Set up and calibrate CNC equipment to ensure optimal machine performance.
• Monitor machining operations to verify quality, accuracy, and production requirements are met.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot basic operational issues.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
• Use precision measuring tools and basic mathematical calculations to verify part dimensions.
• Operate hand tools, panel saws, and other production equipment safely and effectively.
• Fabricate parts and fixtures using a variety of materials.
• Package finished products for shipment or storage as required.
• Collaborate with engineers and production team members to maintain efficient workflow.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and perform other duties as assigned.
