Job summary

Patriot Erectors, LLC is seeking a CNC Operator at our Cleburne shop to begin each fabrication step by cutting raw steel into precise semi-finished parts. You will read cut cards for type, size, weight, length and heat number before the saw engages the material.

Responsibilities include verifying material against cut cards, running pre-nested sheets, understanding G-code, handling tooling, marking and staging parts, with overhead-crane operations and routine maintenance.

Qualifications

• 12+ months experience running a CNC machine.
• Able to read a tape measure and match descriptions.
• Self-starter with eagerness to learn.
• Good communication skills.
• Able to stand for extended periods in a shop.

Responsibilities

• Verify material matches the cut card before every cut.
• Operate pre-nested cut sheets using manual and CNC measuring.
• Understand and edit G-code as needed.
• Deploy tooling and keep inserts in good condition.
• Piece-mark and stage steel for next operations.
• Load/unload the machine with an overhead crane.
• Perform daily cleaning and light maintenance on CNC machinery.
• Follow quality policies and know material types.
