Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced CNC/MFG machinist to set up and operate CNC and manual machines with aerospace tolerances. The role requires blueprint reading, GD&T knowledge, and precision measurement skills. Overtime may be required as projects demand

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in manufacturing or military, with 2–10 years CNC experience and familiarity with shop math. TITANS of CNC training is a plus, supporting quality and productivity goals.

Qualifications

2+ years in manufacturing or military, or 2 years formal technical training.
Blueprint reading and GD&T dimensioning knowledge; use and care of precision tools.
Completion of TITANS of CNC Academy Building Blocks Series preferred.
Proficient in shop math, geometry and conversions.
2–10 years CNC machining experience preferred.
Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate a wide range of CNC and manual machine tools with aerospace tolerances.
Align and secure fixtures, tools, attachments, or materials.
Modify programs in response to problems and troubleshoot errors.
Read blueprints and verify work using precision gauges.
Communicate with engineering and manufacturing staff to exchange information.
Document all data and ensure safety policies are followed.
