Job summary

Kennametal Inc. is seeking a Carbide Pressing Operator in Bedford, PA for the 3rd shift (11 PM–7 AM, Sunday–Thursday). You will set up, operate, and maintain an EP 30 press, following blueprints and executing calibration and preventive maintenance while supporting continuous improvement projects.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–3 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of lean manufacturing, safety, and robotics integration is essential for success in a team-based

Carbide Pressing

Shift: 3rd, 11PM - 7AM, Sunday - Thursday

Purpose

Responsible for daily set-up, maintenance, operations, and running of an EP 30 Pressing Machine presses that are NC (numerical controlled) with robotics attached to them.

• Working in a team environment safely, operating complex production equipment and tools in the manufacture and packaging of various products.
• Following blueprints, guidelines, diagrams and schematics to ensure product and customer specifications and tolerance levels are met.
• Executing equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and sustained production.
• Modify existing equipment and helping design new equipment for continual manufacturing process improvement, providing quality control and in-process production testing
