Job summary

Valar Atomics in Torrance, CA is seeking a hands-on CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will operate FANUC-controlled machines, set up equipment according to work instructions, and ensure parts meet specifications.

This full-time role offers day and night shifts with a $3 shift differential for the 2nd shift. Strong attention to detail and ability to read drawings are required.

You will work with machinists, programmers, and quality personnel to maintain safety and production records.

Qualifications

• Hands-on CNC operator experience with FANUC controls.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.
• Experience using basic precision measuring tools.
• Willing to work day or night shifts.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines safely and efficiently per procedures.
• Set up and operate CNC equipment per work instructions.
• Load/unload parts, inspect components, monitor operation.
• Make basic machine adjustments and offsets.
• Use calipers, micrometers, gauges; maintain records.
• Follow safety, quality, and housekeeping rules.
• Collaborate with machinists, programmers, and quality teams.
