Job summary

A3 Solutions, Inc. is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will prepare, maintain and operate CNC machines, including 5-axis models, reading blueprints and translating instructions into machine commands.

You will also identify materials, load and unload parts, deburr and inspect outputs, and ensure production cycles run safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain and operate CNC machines, including 5 axes CNC machines.
• Read blueprints and drawings to understand task specifications.
• Translate instructions into computer commands for machine operations.
• Identify and pull correct materials to fill orders.
• Operate two CNC machines simultaneously to produce parts.
• Load/unload material/parts from machines.
• Deburr and inspect parts to customer drawings.
• Perform sanding, deburring, labeling, packaging and forms.
• Cut material on Table Saw or Band Saw.
• Prepare test runs to verify outputs meet specifications.
• Set machines for full cycles to produce many parts.
• Supervise machines and adjust for better results.
• Inspect finished products and compare to requirements.
• Check and maintain machinery daily.
• Maintain a lean, organized, safe work area.
• Complete tasks within production schedule.
• Maintain housekeeping requirements in assigned area.

Monday–Friday

2nd shift - 3 p.m.-11:30 p.m.

3rd shift - 11pm-730am

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, maintain and operate CNC machines, including 5 axes CNC machines.
• Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.
• Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.
• Identify and pull correct material required to fill order.
• Multitask and operate two CNC machines simultaneously to produce parts for different orders.
• Load/Unload CNC machine with material/parts being produced.
• Deburr and inspect parts produced according to customer drawing/requirements.
• Perform the following tasks: sanding, deburring, labeling, packaging, filling out required forms, cutting material.
• Cut material on Table Saw and/or Band Saw.
• Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications.
• Set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate large number of parts.
• Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result.
• Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly.
• Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.
• Maintain a lean and organized work area as required for functional and safe work environment.
• Complete assigned tasks within production schedule timeline.
• Responsible for maintaining housekeeping requirements within assigned area/s.
