Job summary

Chromalloy Carson City is seeking a CNC Operator to join our Blade Manufacturing team. You will program, set up, and operate CNC and conventional machines to produce critical aerospace components, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications.

In this hands-on role, you’ll load tools, edit programs, inspect parts with precision tools, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Shift: 3rd; overtime may be required and includes a $2–$4/hour differential and a $1,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years CNC machining or machine operation experience preferred.
• Experience using measuring tools and inspection equipment.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and specifications.
• Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented.

Job Description

We're looking for a CNC Operator to join our Blade Manufacturing team. In this hands‑on role, you'll set up, program, and operate CNC and conventional machines used to manufacture critical aerospace components. Shift: 3rd, Primarily Monday-Friday (schedule flexibility required; days and hours may vary based on business needs, including weekends) | 10:00 PM-6:30 PM

Shift Differential: $2-$4/hour based on assigned workdays

Sign-On Bonus: $1,000

This position may require work hours outside of the regularly scheduled hours to meet operational needs. This may include work during evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Additional work hours are assigned based on business requirements. Non-exempt employees will be paid overtime in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

The salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation within the range is determined by multiple factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, job related skills, internal equity, and market conditions.
