Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Set up CNC milling machines, mount fixtures, load programs, and install tools.
  • Load/unload parts and monitor visual and dimensional quality.
  • Make minor adjustments and offsets to maintain accuracy.
  • Machine tie-bars on bucket cores and take precise measurements.
  • Run inspections and interpret X-ray results when required.
  • Meet productivity, yield, and quality targets consistently.
  • Follow 6S safety practices and keep the workspace clean.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.

CNC Milling Operator – 3rd Shift (10 PM – 6 AM, Sunday–Thursday)
Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented CNC Milling Operator to join our night shift team. In this role, you will set up and operate CNC milling machines to prefinish fired ceramic cores, ensuring every part meets our high-quality standards. You’ll play a key part in maintaining precision and productivity while working in a collaborative, safety-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up CNC milling machines, including mounting part-holding fixtures, loading programs, and installing cutting tools.
  • Load and unload parts, monitoring for visual and dimensional quality throughout production runs.
  • Make minor machine adjustments and program offsets to maintain product accuracy.
  • Cut tie-bars on bucket cores and perform precise measurements using micrometers and other instruments.
  • Operate CNC machines for inspection purposes and interpret product X-rays as needed.
  • Meet department productivity, yield, and quality standards consistently.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area following 6S principles.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
