Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the use of various machining centers (lathes, drill press, mills, CNC lathes, CNC mills) to produce precision parts.
• Perform basic math calculations to measure machined parts.
• Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, plug & thread gauges) and interpret blueprints/planning sheets.
• Complete quality control inspections and document conformity of parts machined.
• Follow safety standards to prevent harm to operator and equipment damage.
• Deburr parts and perform routine machine maintenance (check coolants and oil levels).
• Keep the work area clean and document actions in logs.
