Join Our Team as a CNC Operator!
We're looking for a detail-oriented CNC Operator to safely set up and operate CNC machines producing quality ceramic cores. In this role, you'll follow standard operating procedures and customer specifications to consistently deliver high-quality, precision parts in a clean, safety-focused environment.
What You'll Do
- Follow documented, job-specific work instructions
- Set up fixtures and safely operate CNC machines to produce quality ceramic cores
- Apply knowledge of machining functions, operation buttons, and switches
- Secure product and operate stops/guides for proper alignment
- Visually inspect products and identify defects
- Maintain required documentation and paperwork
- Meet production goals and quality requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Communicate effectively with managers, leads, quality inspectors, engineering, and fellow operators
- Complete end-of-shift duties, including production reporting, TPM, and 6S activities
- Follow all company safety rules and regulations
What You Bring
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Experience using precision measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Willingness to work independently
- Excellent attendance and dependability
- Willingness to cross-train in other company job functions
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for a full 8-hour shift (plus overtime, when required)
- Close visual acuity for tasks such as reading, visual inspection of small parts/defects, and using measuring devices
- Comfort working in a manufacturing environment
